Looking Good

Hey world,

Well it is looking good for "Shock Treatment"to get put on out at COA. The drama director just so happens to be a huge Rocky Horror fan. I will know the initial verdict sometime next week so keep your fingers crossed. I do know that this musical has a better shot to get made then Rocky Horror...beyond a shadow of a doubt. Anyways I will keep this blog updated. On another note, I have added the fifth chapter to my "Shock Treatment" fan fiction; the title of it is "Another For The Road". If you would like to read it, feel free to visit this link. Thanks!!

Shock Treatment at COA

Hey everyone,

The name is Observer101 aka Jenn Phares and I am currently a student at College of The Albemarle- Elizabeth City campus and was wondering how plausible it would be to have a performance of
the musical 'Shock Treatment' out at COA with a 'Shadow Cast'. In case y'all don't know what Shock Treatment is about; one can simply Wikpedia and or Google it. Basically this movie was put together to be a sequel to the 1975 cult classic, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show' but due to several reasons, the initial plan was abandoned. However, the end result turned out to be that stood on its own two feet.

"Shock Treatment" follows the lives of the recently married couple, Brad and Janet Majors as they enter the world of DTV aka Denton TV. What they don't know is that the entire thing has been set up by Brad's estranged, long lost twin brother, Farley Flavors in attempts to get Janet to be with him. This is very outstanding movie and as much as I love RHPS; my heart rests with Shock Treatment. So if you are not only a big fan of Shock Treatment but attend College of The Albemarle in Elizabeth City, NC and think that this would be a good idea to do; please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Compared to Rocky Horror, Shock Treatment is more PG and has a better chance of getting done.

If you would like to get in touch with me about this, please e-mail me at jennifer_phares@coa.albemarle.edu . Thanks!
